For a few years I’ve owned a pair of JVC HA-S600′s, and after seeing some of the crap out there, I figured it was time to post a review of, quite possibly, the best headphones I’ve had. Spoiler: I like them.

SOPA, the anti-piracy act in the U.S. that will blacklist the Internet, sucks. It needs to be stopped so that small businesses, like myself, can be allowed to operate without the threat of being taken down without warning by the U.S. government.

I was told by a friend that Monday Magazine was starting to delete articles older than a year. This was just not acceptable to a budding archivist like myself, so I did what any caring Internet archivist would do… I downloaded the entire site and made a torrent.
Now I’m one step closer to being as cool as Mike Vardy! Update: I gave up on this setup and went back to my regular desk. Unfortunately, the keyboard and mouse were too low at the standing desk, and my wrists started hurting after a while…
I hate Christmas. It’s a time burdened with thoughtless spending, debt, and consumeristic acquisitiveness. I dislike the entire notion of the “holiday,” and think I can be doing better things with my time and money.
There has been many a post lately about Firefox and its possible demise because of lack of funding and much bad press. I’m here to say: Firefox will not die.
On October 31st, I signed up for NaNoWriMo, a challenge to write a novel in 30 days (the month of November). I have not done very well at getting to 50,000 words, but I’ve done well in getting off the ground. To me, NaNoWriMo wasn’t so much for the “in-a-month” aspect as much as the “getting-started”.
